TERMINALS

EWS Network operates from the Highlands of Scotland to the most southerly part of England, and through the Channel Tunnel to mainland Europe.

This geographic coverage is supported by a network of terminals from cross docking decks to fully equipped Intermodal terminals, with state of the art container handling equipment.

EWS Network operates its multi-user and single user Intermodal trains in five different ways:

  • Port to inland terminal
  • Inland terminal to port
  • Inland terminal to inland terminal
  • Inland terminal/port to the Channel Tunnel
  • Channel Tunnel to inland terminal/port

These routing options mean containers can be moved on our network of services right across the county, including inland movements, and also to mainland Europe via the Channel Tunnel. Please see our EWS Network Intermodal map for the ports and inland terminals we serve.

EWS Network also offers a range of added-value services at its terminals, such as storing containers and using dedicated road fleets at key locations to handle 'the last mile'. We also work in partnership with other terminal operators to deliver a unique and truly nationwide coverage.

Please contact us through the Key contacts section to discuss how our EWS Network terminals can deliver wider benefits for you and your customers.
