RESTITUTION

In the UK marketplace today more containers are imported than exported.

With the shifting demand for haulage around the UK linked to the arrival and departure of ships, you need inland buffer or management centres to manage the imbalances across the UK network.

This is where EWS can help. Through our network of services and terminals, we can manage the flow of containers under our control around or between UK ports, to service your needs. We will move your import box to a regional terminal from one port of entry and after discharge move the box to our terminal. It can subsequently be moved to a different port for export, to suit your needs. Furthermore, we will continually work to reduce the downtime of your containers.

And, it doesn't stop there. With our large inland terminals, our service offer is not just for shipping lines. We can also support the port operators by relieving peak season congestion.

This service can be provided as part of an Intermodal train package or a unique one-off service tailor-made for your requirements. You need to have these empty containers moved, and EWS Network has the flexibility, the coverage and the ability to store and deliver when you need them.

Please contact us through the Key contacts section to discuss how we can handle the restitution of your Intermodal containers.
